In early 2009 Global added to COW’s existing GWS G145 pressline.  The new installation consisted of two GWS G145 4Hi Towers, one GWS G145 2Hi, and a second GWS 221 Folder. After Metrolands purchase of COW they needed another newspaper press and adding to the existing GWS equipment that was installed in 2006 was clearly their best option. The pressline now consists of four GWS G145 Shaftless 4Hi Towers, two GWS 221 Folders, and a GWS G145 2Hi.  Customer options include Quad Tech Auto Color Register, Quad Tech Auto Cut-off Control, Perretta Remote Inking, Jardis Splicers, GWS ¼ Folder, and GWS Double Parallel.
